Born into a family of professional musicians, with his parents excelling as violin and double bass players, Vladimir de Groot was immersed in classical music from an early age. He began playing the cello at just four years old, mastering musical notes even before he could read books. By composing and writing his own pieces as a young child, Vladimir quickly earned the reputation of a true musical prodigy.
However, his journey took an exciting turn when he discovered the world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM). This passion gave rise to Vluarr. As his career unfolded, he released successful tracks with prestigious labels such as Monstercat and Barong Family, STMPD Records continuously refining his signature style. Experimenting across genres from Trap to Deep House he ultimately found his unique sound in Melodic Bass House.
What makes Vluarr's music truly distinctive is his integration of the classical cello, an instrument he both plays and records himself. By combining the rich, emotional tones of the cello with triumphant electronic melodies and dynamic bass drops, Vluarr crafts productions that stand out from the crowd. In every performance, Vluarr draws listeners into his world. His fusion of orchestral instruments with powerful, energetic EDM creates an atmosphere that's both emotional and electrifying.
His talent has led to collaborations with industry giants like Martin Garrix, Mesto, Brooks, and Mike Williams. Martin Garrix has championed Vluarr's music on some of the world's largest stages, including Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Sziget and many more! With over 21 million Spotify streams, Vluarr's influence is rapidly expanding.
Vluarr's live performances have graced iconic venues and events such as Tomorrowland Festival, Ushuaia Ibiza, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), and even festivals in Japan, cementing his status as a globally recognized artist.
